Job description

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION

Participate in loading and unloading baggage and/or cargo on the runway and in the hold (manually and/or with equipment/tools)

✓ Load/unload on carts, containers, or any other means provided.

✓ Position baggage and/or cargo and containers in the hold according to the loading plan.

✓ Open and close hold doors.


Participate in setting up equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft.

✓ Chock the aircraft, mark and remove chocks and markings.


Prepare, clean, refuel, and store runway equipment and materials.

Drive and tow equipment to ensure loading and unloading of the hold, boarding and disembarking of passengers.

✓ Transport baggage and/or cargo using designated means (tractors, carts, container loaders…).

✓ Transport and handle equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft outside ZEC.


Set up equipment upon arrival and departure of the aircraft

✓ Chock the aircraft, mark and remove chocks and markings.

Assist the aircraft

✓ Transport any equipment necessary for aircraft handling for which they have been trained and authorized by the hierarchy (e.g., GPU (Ground Power Unit), 400 Hz, ASU (Air Starter Unit), ACU (Air Conditioning Unit), AHU (Air Heating Unit),…).

Communicate

✓ Transmit information between teams and different stakeholders.


Ensure compliance with safety rules and security measures

✓ Report safety or security-related events.

Job requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS / PREREQUISITES FOR THE POSITION

✓ Usually requires a professional experience of three to six weeks.

✓ Mastery of company procedures.


REQUIRED DEGREES / QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

✓ The position does not require qualifications other than those obtained through compulsory education.

✓ Holder of a driver's license.

✓ Holder of certifications related to the activity (e.g., driving of equipment).

✓ Acquisition and mastery of mandatory authorizations and permits.


POSITION CHARACTERISTICS AND ENVIRONMENT

✓ The profession is carried out in regulated areas and requires administrative authorizations.

✓ Shift work including weekends and holidays.

✓ Mainly outdoor work.

✓ Wearing professional attire and safety equipment is mandatory.

✓ Compliance with the "Uniform Charter" is mandatory (uniform, presentation, behavior).
