Job description
For our fast growing Prima Vista Airport Lounges services, we are looking for motivated VIP supervisors to build up our new Lounge at Tessaloniki Airport (SKG).
Prima Vista Lounges the dedicated Brand of the Aviapartner Group, a world-wide active ground handler in Europe and Africa with 18.000+ dedicated employees.
Fluent English speaking, Leader oriented, Peoples’s person and Excellency customer’s experience are key skills for this job!
You will report to the VIP Lounge Manager and be part of an European team overseeing all Lounges activities.
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the VIP room.
✓ Ensure quality standards are met in customer service.
✓ Coordinate and direct the assigned team, including schedules and timetables.
✓ Manage and resolve customer situations or complaints with professionalism.
✓ Monitor the supply of food, drinks and other services on offer.
✓ Check that facilities are in perfect condition (cleanliness, order, maintenance).
✓ Monitor compliance with safety protocols and airport regulations.
✓ Work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
✓ Train new staff and enhance the skills of the existing team.
✓ Manage incidents and report them to the relevant managers.
✓ Check the inventory of supplies and place the necessary orders.
✓ Coordinate the setting up and dismantling of specific areas as required.
✓ Review and update operational procedures in collaboration with management.
✓ Prepare performance and incident reports relating to the VIP room.
✓ Ensure smooth communication with other airport departments.
✓ Foster a positive and motivating working environment for the team.
✓ Oversee compliance with staff rules of behaviour and etiquette.
✓ Participate in department planning and evaluation meetings.
✓ Implement service improvements based on customer feedback.
✓ Ensure sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives are implemented in the room.

Job requirements
NECESSARY SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS TO HOLD THE POSITION
✓ Leadership and team management: Ability to coordinate and motivate staff to achieve common goals.
✓ Customer focus: Focus on delivering excellent service, anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.
✓ Problem solving: Ability to manage incidents and make quick and effective decisions.
✓ Effective communication: Ability to interact clearly and professionally with customers, team and external collaborators.
✓ Planning and organisation: Skill in managing multiple tasks and ensuring the efficient running of the room.
✓ Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and respond to the unexpected.
DIPLOMAS / HABILITATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
✓The position requires at least one year's experience in catering and hotel service or equivalent training.
✓ Holder of a driving licence.
✓ Holder of certifications related to the activity.
✓ Obtaining and mastering mandatory clearances and authorisations.
JOB CHARACTERISTICS AND ENVIRONMENT
✓ The position is carried out in restricted areas and requires specific administrative authorisations.
✓ Staggered working hours including weekends, public holidays and busy periods.
✓ Work in an indoor environment, with the possibility of travel to other areas of the airport.
✓ Compliant professional dress is mandatory to ensure a polished image.
✓ Strict compliance with the ‘Uniform Charter’ is required (dress, personal presentation and behaviour).
✓ Need to maintain exemplary and professional behaviour in a high-end service setting.
