Job description
For our fast growing Prima Vista Airport Lounges services, we are looking for motivated VIP Receptionists to build up our new Lounge at Tessaloniki Airport (SKG).
Prima Vista Lounges the dedicated Brand of the Aviapartner Group, a world-wide active ground handler in Europe and Africa with 18.000+ dedicated employees.
Fluent English speaking, Leader oriented, Peoples’s person and Excellency customer’s experience are key skills for this job!
You will report to the VIP Lounge Manager and be part of an European team overseeing all Lounges activities.
Responsible of the Lounge full operation:
✓ Keep a high service attitude towards the client. Treat formally, addressing the client in the formal treatment of the language in use (Lei, Mr./Mrs.,Usted, Sir...)
✓ Guarantee that every client is welcomed efficiently and quickly
✓ Guarantee that every client’s request is taken into account
✓ Address the client in a gentle, respectful, confident manner
✓ Correctly identify and treat VIP clients. Report immediately to the Lounge Manager or Operations Manager
✓ Know every service offered, as well as any other airport services
✓ Guarantee that the service and treatment offered to the client is constantly improving
✓ Make sure that no one reports any misconducts to the Lounge Manager
✓ Register properly (according to the company or alliance criteria) every client who enters the VIP Lounge
✓ Participate in the training courses and apply this know-how in the workplace
✓ Follow any instructions given by the superiors
✓ Fluent communication with the staff members
✓ Attend and participate in every department and monthly meetings
✓ Participate in the training days and apply the acquired knowledge
✓ Guarantee a good working relationship with other departments
✓ Awareness of the maximum capacity and the occupancy in order to avoid relocation
✓ Guarantee that no client will be denied the entrance in case of a high occupancy. An alternative will be offered (another Lounge or a voucher for a restaurant in the airport.)
✓ Be aware of the food and beverage area and refill/collect if needed. The Lounge Manager or the Operations Manager may request the receptionist’s collaboration when needed (multitask activities)
✓ Deep knowledge of the register and shift change procedures, as well as of the entrance criteria of the company or alliance
✓ Offer a service which meets our quality standards at all times
✓ In case of not being able to attend a passenger’s request, find the Lounge Manager or the Operation Manager
✓ Pass every feedback or report from the passengers on to the Lounge Manager or the Operation Manager
✓ Explain the service to the passengers, unless they have been previously identified as frequent clients
✓ Adopt a business approach

Job requirements
NECESSARY SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS TO HOLD THE POSITION

✓ Problem solving: Ability to manage incidents and make quick and effective decisions.

DIPLOMAS / HABILITATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
✓The position requires at least one year's experience in catering and hotel service or equivalent training.
✓ Holder of a driving licence.
✓ Holder of certifications related to the activity.
✓ Obtaining and mastering mandatory clearances and authorisations.
JOB CHARACTERISTICS AND ENVIRONMENT
✓ The position is carried out in restricted areas and requires specific administrative authorisations.
✓ Staggered working hours including weekends, public holidays and busy periods.
✓ Work in an indoor environment, with the possibility of travel to other areas of the airport.
✓ Compliant professional dress is mandatory to ensure a polished image.
✓ Strict compliance with the ‘Uniform Charter’ is required (dress, personal presentation and behaviour).
✓ Need to maintain exemplary and professional behaviour in a high-end service setting.
