Job description
As Traffic Officer, you coordinate the handling of cargo on flights and trucks.
Specifically, you ensure that cargo arrives on time on the right flight or truck, in the right conditions. You will gather information, process the entire administration and make sure that the required documents get on or off board correctly and on time. This is a position with an interesting growth path. You will start with basic tasks and eventually take care of the full freighters completely with around 100 tonnes of cargo per flight.
Job requirements
As a candidate Traffic Officer, we firstly expect you to be very flexible towards working hours. The Cargo Office works 24/7 so your job is in a full-continuous shift system, which includes night work, weekends and holidays.
You are in constant contact with the Cargo Operators, the Turnaround Coordinators of the flights you handle, other colleagues in the Cargo Office, airlines, truck drivers, forwarders, etc. This means that you are communicative and customer-friendly and that you can not only do your job independently, but also function well in a team.
And very specifically:
✓ You speak and write French and English very fluently.
✓ This job is also quite administrative. That must be in your blood
✓ And your thinking must be at Bachelor level to be able to grasp it all
Experience in a logistics environment is going to help you, but that's not a must, as you will receive full training at Aviapartner!
